Support Your Way runs a variety of different groups and social activities for people with disabilities. We provide an inclusive community where everyone can achieve their individual goals and develop new skills. Our team is friendly and welcoming and are trained to understand your support needs. We will work with you to build your skills and connect with your community.
Our support groups run in Melbourne and Adelaide, so if you're around these areas - get in touch!
Activities in the past have included visiting zoos, festivals, gardens, as well as having quiz nights and dinners
Some of our group activities include:
Our gaming group gathers those passionate about gaming together for a fun and interactive time! Whether you’re into RPGs, MOBAs, action-adventure, RTS or FPS games, all types of gamers are more than welcome to join us.
Our Centre Base groups are usually hosted at a convenient, easy-to-reach central location – this includes office spaces, libraries, and other venues. This group is held in a relaxed environment where activities include arts and crafts, cooking, reading and more. Centre Base is particularly well-suited to those who prefer a more low-key hangout.
The Out & About group is one of most popular groups. Out and About is a social group for people with disability aged 35 and above to catch up on a regular basis and socialise. Our activities range from coffee catch-ups to full day trips out to the Zoo and other attractions around the area.
Dinner & Dance
Like the name suggests, you’ll love joining this group if you’re looking to enjoy a night out! Our dinner & dance nights start off with a delicious dinner and lively conversations around the table, before putting those feet to use and going out for a dance.
Wheelchair / Powerchair Football
Support Your Way are big advocates of disability sports, and one of our ultimate favourites is Wheelchair/Powerchair Football. Join us for a day of friendly competition and getting active!
