Information on our COVID-19 Response

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, our team is committed to responding in a timely manner to keep our community safe and supported. Last Updated: 18 May 2020, 3:00pm (AEDT)

CONTINUING SERVICES

Support Your Way is continuing essential supports which means services that you need to get through your day. These include, domestic support and in-home care.

A lot of businesses remain closed down but some will be opening up again over the next month. Australian Government still encourages social distancing and we recommend all participants to still consider new alternatives with activities in low risk areas.

KEEPING OUR CLIENTS, SUPPORT WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES SAFE

We must all work together to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19. Our clients, support workers and their families might be at a heightened risk. Please work with us to keep everyone safe by following these simple steps:

  • Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands

  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue, then dispose of it. If a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your elbow

  • Maintain a social distance, staying 1.5 metres away from people where possible

  • If you are unwell, cancel your Support Your Way support immediately with the contact details below

  • If you are working with people vulnerable to COVID-19, or with suppressed immune systems contact Support Your Way immediately with the contact details below

  • If you contract or have been exposed to COVID-19, you should contact Support Your Way immediately with the contact details below
