SUPPORTING OUR CLIENTS
In this challenging time, we want to make sure your supports can continue as best as possible and the way you want.
Our team will be actively working towards providing flexible supports the way you want them to be. We encourage all participants to get in contact with us to let us know what this might look like. We understand that some participants and families may want to suspend services, decrease supports or even increase.
Our community is stronger together. A number of participants have already utilised Skype/Zoom and our Discord server to keep in touch with one another. Through these means, participants have organised online gaming nights and social groups.
SUPPORTING OUR SUPPORT WORKERS
In these challenging times we will be supporting our team of support workers as best we can. This is our plan on how we can support you:
If you get a diagnosis of COVID19 or are awaiting testing we will pay your average daily pay for the previous six months less any casual loading. You will need to provide test results or a medical certificate for this.
We will be temporarily increasing the 20km reimbursement cap to 50km to account for the inability to use public transport.
Support Workers can request an advanced payment of wages. Chat to us if you’re going through a tough time.
